Protecting reproductive rights is essential for ensuring bodily autonomy, gender equality, and access to comprehensive healthcare services. Kansas must uphold and expand reproductive rights, safeguarding the freedom of individuals to make choices about their bodies and futures without interference.

Voting Rights: Voting is the cornerstone of democracy, and every eligible Kansan must have equal access to the ballot box. Upholding voting rights means eliminating barriers to voter registration and participation, combating voter suppression tactics, and ensuring fair representation for all communities. 

Indigenous Issues: Kansas has a rich indigenous heritage that must be respected and preserved. It is crucial to recognize the sovereignty and treaty rights of indigenous nations, address historical injustices, and promote meaningful collaboration with indigenous communities.  

Education: Investing in education is an investment in the future of Kansas. Kansas must prioritize equitable funding for schools, support innovative teaching methods, and ensure access to high-quality education for all students, regardless of zip code or background.  

Gun Safety: Every child deserves to grow up in a safe and nurturing environment. Kansas must implement policies that prioritize the safety and well-being of youth, including robust anti-bullying initiatives, comprehensive mental health support, and effective strategies to prevent violence and substance abuse. 

Protecting our youth from gun violence is paramount for the safety of our communities. Kansas must prioritize comprehensive gun safety measures, including universal background checks, safe storage requirements, and responsible gun ownership education. By implementing evidence-based strategies to prevent gun-related tragedies, we can create safer environments for our youth to grow and thrive.

Protecting Vulnerable Youth: Kansas must take proactive measures to protect and support vulnerable youth, including those experiencing homelessness, abuse, or neglect. By investing in youth shelters, counseling services, and outreach programs, we can provide critical resources and pathways to stability for young people facing adversity. Every child deserves a chance to thrive, and Kansas must be committed to ensuring their safety and well-being. 

Climate Change: Addressing climate change is imperative for the future of Kansas and the well-being of its residents. As our climate continues to change, we are witnessing more frequent and severe weather events, impacting agriculture, infrastructure, and public health. Housing: Safe and affordable housing is essential for the stability and security of Kansas families. By addressing housing affordability, combating homelessness, and expanding access to affordable housing options, we can strengthen communities and improve quality of life for all residents.

Kansas must work to eradicate food insecurity by supporting initiatives such as food banks, nutrition assistance programs, and community gardens.
